The nanotechnology-based hydrophobic impregnant uses silane nanoparticles that react with the plaster surface structure and provide a long-lasting hydrophobic effect. As a result, the impregnator forms an invisible hydrophobic nanocoating that not only repels water, but also reduces the absorption of dirt and soot carried by rainwater into the surface. The impregnant also prevents the formation of green and gray lichen, fungi, mold and moss, and reduces their proliferation. In addition, the product protects building facades from precipitation (water) absorption into the structure, therefore helping to maintain the initial level of thermal insulation of buildings. This coating also has self-cleaning properties, so the plaster surface will stay clean longer and will be much easier to clean compared to the surface of an unimpregnated facade.
Advantages:
- Protection against moisture: The hydrophobic impregnant forms a protective layer on the surface of the plaster, which prevents moisture from penetrating into the material. This makes the plaster resistant to the effects of rain, snow or ice.
- Protection against dirt & sediments: The hydrophobic coating makes it difficult for soot, dirt, dust and other contaminants to settle on the plaster surface. As a result, the plaster retains its aesthetic appearance for longer and is easier to keep clean.
- Self-cleaning effect: Thanks to its hydrophobic properties, the impregnant creates a self-cleaning effect, which means that the surface will become much easier to wash and clean. Water and other liquids drain easily from the surface, taking dirt and deposits with them, so the plaster will stay neat longer and become easier to maintain.
