About this product

SPECIALCHEM Impregnant for absorbent ceramics, bricks and clinker is an innovative, colorless, water-based product for unglazed bricks, clinker, ceramic tiles, handmade bricks, flower pots and other unglazed surfaces of ceramic products. Effectively penetrates even into gap filler, penetrating up to 8 mm into the brick, protecting against dirt, rain and other harmful corrosive factors.

Perfect for use on facades, fences, brick panels, walls, floors, roofs, basements and interior walls. The product slightly strengthens the surface, provides hydrophobic properties and a STAY-CLEAN effect – effectively protecting against dirt, erosion and stains. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Suitable for:
Unglazed bricks and handmade bricks, unglazed ceramic tiles, absorbent clinker, brick and clinker slabs, unglazed flower pots and other ceramic products.

Product efficiency: 1 l – 7–10 m², 5 l – 35–50 m², 10 l – 70–100 m². Coating longevity: ~5 years.

Product information

Instructions for use:
DO NOT use on hot surfaces. Use at plus temperatures (preferably above 10 degrees). Ready to use – do not dilute. It is best to spray with an HVLP gun or garden sprayer. Use safety glasses and gloves. Ensure that surface stays dry, and there’s no rain for minimum 3 hours after application.

Always test on an inconspicuous area before applying.
Protect the environment – especially glass and metal – with film.
If it gets dirty, wipe it immediately with a wet cloth or rinse with water.
Apply as much impregnating agent as the surface will absorb – wipe off the excess or spread it on an unimpregnated surface.
Leave the surface to dry.

Recommended: 1-2 coating cycles, use the “wet-on-wet” method (You must apply the second coat before the first one is completely dry).
After finishing work, rinse the tools under running water.
